[1s] Who are you and why are standing?

[26s] I'm Zach and I am the Labour candidate for channels forward in this year's local elections.

[31s] I've lived here for the last decade, so I m in touch with our community and the issues that affect you and your family each and every day.

[38s] And sadly because I have witnessed the decline of public services since 2010, both on a national level and indeed here locally under the Liberal Democrat-run

[46s] Eastley Borough Council.

[48s] Our community is desperately crying out for change and needs a strong voice on our council to help deliver it.

[55s] I'm Sheila Lee and I've lived in Charles Ford all my life which is why I am standing for the Charles Fords Ward at the next local elections on May 2nd.

[64s] I' m the passionate believer in the strength of community working together and i feel that as a community we could be offered so many more opportunities

[74s] with the right councilor in place.

[76s] So vote for me please on may 2. How would you make a difference locally?

[91s] I, with the local Labour team, have a vision for positive change in our area.

[97s] It's one of local renewal with a council that works for its community.

[101s] We're prioritising real change with our long-term plan for channels for which is why we're the only party to publish a full local manifesto in advance

[110s] of this year's elections which you can view on our website at eastleylabor.co.uk.

[114s] You deserve a strong voice on your council that's standing up for you as well as holding the Accompetent Linden leadership to account.

[123s] on May 2nd, one of the things I promise you as local residents is that I will look at the maintenance of our open spaces,

[130s] our grass verges and our gutters.

[133s] It is unacceptable that areas of Chandler Fords and Hiltongbury should be left looking like this when young people need to be able to play or generally

[144s] we should have flooding problems caused by blocked guttas and grass cuttings.

[151s] One last call, anything you'd like to say?

[155s] Let's be honest, our community is desperately crying out for change.

[159s] The Conservatives nationally have left the country in a total mess after 14 years in government and the Lib Dems locally are running the council finances

[167s] into the ground whilst putting up your council tax every single year.

[172s] Don't believe every bar chart that you see on leaflets.

[175s] A recent poll put the Lib Dems trailing way in third, with Labour best place to take on the Tories in a strong second place in Eastleigh.

[183s] And voters in channels four have been taken for granted for way too long by the lib Dems.

[188s] So if you want a councillor that will stand up for you and your community whilst holding the economically competent council leadership to account,

[196s] then please vote Labour on 2nd May.

[198s] I'd be truly humbled to have your support.

[200s] Thank you so much.

[203s] As the great-granddaughter of a suffragette, I know how important it is to vote.

[207s] If you don't vote, then your views aren't heard.

[210s] At present, East Heathborough Council has a debt of the equivalent of £2,500 per person.

[217s] They are paying over £300,000 a month in interest on this debt.

[223s] This is unacceptable. This money could be spent far better looking after our local area, getting better youth provision, provision for adults,

[233s] for lonely people, elderly people.

[235s] Generally giving us the services we deserve.

[239s] Vote for me please on May 2nd.
