It looks likely that part of the old Eastleigh constituency will be joining a new Hamble Valley constituency at the next election, which seems likely to present some challenges for campaigning for all parties. I keep thinking it would be great to have some proper data (not a twitter poll, or leading questions on a party website!) about the new constituency and have been wondering about how to get that data.
This is probably a terrible idea, but would it be possible to crowdfund a polling company to survey the new constituency?
I thought I’d ask here in case anyone had experience of such things and could talk me out of it/had any tips! If it did get further than a random idea on Eastleigh Online, what kind of questions would you ask, and would you be willing to chip in?
