Chandler's Ford Parish Council invites the community to celebrate VE Day 80 at Hiltingbury Recreation Ground. The event kicks off at 8.45pm with live music from Michelmersh Silver Band, followed by a reading of tributes at 9.20pm. At 9.30pm, the lighting of the beacon will take place, accompanied by the hymn 'I Vow To Thee My Country' sung by Emily Blackledge. Attendees are reminded that there will be no public parking on site.
