The Tale of Princess Kaguya

Pickup Dance Southampton celebrates our 12th birthday with a recreation of an old Japanese Myth. An old bamboo cutter finds a miniature girl in the forest one day who magically turns into a baby. He and his wife have always wanted children and decide to raise her like their own. Her father believes she is destined for great things and always wonders where she came from.
