Message from Eastleigh Borough Council
We would like to celebrate individuals and groups and volunteer groups who have given their time to help others in their local community during the pandemic.
We have heard many stories of kindness, creativity and hope, and we are asking you to submit stories and details of people you think deserve to be one of our Local Heroes.
Acts of kindness such as providing essential supplies for those shielding or self-isolating, keeping open spaces accessible for others or checking in on somebody living on their own have continued to make a huge difference to peoples lives. There has never been a more important time to take care of the health and wellbeing of our community which is why we want to recognise those that have and are contributing to that.
